Ageless Grace Trainers
Barbara Kunz
Author • Brain Health Advocate • Movement Educator • App Creator • Ageless Grace® Trainer & Educator
Barbara Kunz lives in the lakeside village of Port Stanley, Ontario, Canada, where she is known for her joyful spirit, her community involvement, and her deep commitment to brain-body wellness. She was first introduced to Ageless Grace® by its creator, Denise Medved, at the inaugural Canadian Seminar and Certification in 2012. From the moment she experienced the expressive, playful movements of the 21 Tools, her inner child lit up — and she knew she had found her calling.
Today, Barbara is an Ageless Grace® Trainer and Educator, helping students and fellow educators share simple, powerful ways to support lifelong brain health. She brings an open heart, creativity, and curiosity to every class, inspiring people of all ages and abilities to discover their own joy, confidence, and personal growth through movement. Her classes create a welcoming space where students build body awareness, improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen their brains, and — just as importantly — have fun.
Barbara is also the author of Energizing Engagement: Creative Home Workouts for Dementia & Alzheimer Patients and Their Caregivers, available on Amazon. This heartfelt, practical guide offers caregivers and families accessible ways to bring movement, connection, and cognitive stimulation into everyday life.
Her passion for accessibility led her to create the Sit & Shine With Barb app — an at‑home brain-body program designed especially for caregivers and their clients or loved ones. Her mission is to make cognitive stimulation and movement-based brain health available to everyone, including those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or mobility challenges. More information can be found at www.brainhealthwithbarb.com.
A retired software support analyst in the healthcare industry, Barbara blends technical understanding with heartfelt compassion. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Amy and Beth; mother‑in‑law to Jake and Adam; and Mimi to her cherished grandchildren — Jack, Stella, Wesley, and Quinn. Her deep love for family and community shines through everything she does.
Barbara is a passionate advocate for people living with brain failure, championing dignity, creativity, and joyful engagement at every stage of life. She believes wholeheartedly that even on the heaviest days — when life feels like it’s weighing down the body — just ten minutes of Ageless Grace® can lift the spirit, brighten the mind, and reconnect us to our own resilience.
