Denise Medved – Founder

Denise Medved

Denise Medved is the founder and creator of the Ageless Grace program. While she has taught people of all ages, body types and all abilities–from children to athletes, from dancers and non-dancers to golfers, Denise specializes in movement for those who believe their movement is restricted. She is passionate about helping them find that not only can they move again with comfort and ease, but that their bodies can feel better and that they can experience a greater quality of life. She works with those over 55 years old, those with chronic illness and those recovering from physical injury and surgery. Take an online class with Denise.

She has been a speaker at conferences and organizations around the globe including Harvard Medical School, International Council on Active Aging, Functional Aging Institute, Aging Projects International, the American Society on Aging, and the National Recreation and Parks Association.

Denise has also worked extensively with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, and MS, and those in wheelchairs, or those using walkers and canes.

She has been featured on national television, in publications such as American Fitness, and at such internationally acclaimed facilities as Canyon Ranch Health and Fitness Resort in Tucson, Arizona; The Oaks Spa in Ojai, California; Rosey’s Little Village in Agistri, Greece; Chianchiano Terme Spa in Tuscany, Italy; aboard Princess and Carnival Cruise Lines, and at the Pebble Beach Resorts in Pebble Beach, California.

A senior officer and board member of one of the largest communications companies in the world in New York City for 14 years, Denise later served as a marketing and public relations consultant in California and North Carolina for another 15 years. She also has more than 30 years of singing and acting experience, and she brings high energy, creativity, fun, and excellent stress management skills to her workshops, seminars and trainings.

She lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina with her husband in their historic Mistletoe Hill home.

Brandi Hand – Marketing

Brandi is a born communicator so it natural that she has landed in a profession that allows her to connect with thousands of people every day. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, with concentration in Public Relations and a minor in History, from Louisiana State University. Brandi has worked in communications on a local, national, and international level. In the past she has worked with the NFL, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Louisiana Tennis Association, the Asheville Humane Society and various other non-profits. She is the owner of Flutter Communications, an online marketing, social media, and search engine optimization company. 

Brandi has dreams of one day becoming an author of books for young adults, but for now she satisfies her passion for writing by posting to her blog, SheShedShare.com

 Lia Barth – Administrative Assistant

Lia is an Ageless Grace Educator, Nia Enthusiast, Veterinary Lab Technician, gardener and animal lover who lives in Hendersonville, NC.  She is grateful for all the connections and friends she has made around the world through Ageless Grace.

Jill Hill – Administrative Assistant

Jill was born in Oregon, raised in southern California, and transplanted to the western North Carolina mountains to raise her family. She currently works full-time as an administrative assistant in a veterinary diagnostic lab in Asheville, North Carolina. She is known as a loyal friend with a playful and creative spirit. She hopes to bring this playful spirit into her Ageless Grace Classes. Jill will be teaching in Henderson & Buncombe counties.

Bonnie Frenkel – Social Media Director

Bonnie created and continues to run the social media outlets for Ageless Grace.  She is a Reiki Master and a Certified Ageless Grace Educator.  She has a passion for sharing the benefits of wellness via social media outlets, sessions and movement classes.  Bonnie has over 15 years sharing benefits of wellness and fitness techniques and has been featured on talk radio.

Bonnie enjoys suggesting techniques that reduce stress in order to create and maintain wellness.  She believes reducing stress is vital to a human’s whole existence.  Bonnie encourages her clients and students to stay proactive by suggesting daily practices that best reflect what would benefit them.
