Additional Information

Empowered Lines is a workshop created by artist and Ageless Grace Trainer Stacy Parish, which offers a path to wellness through creativity.  It’s based on a course of study called “Neurographica”, and was designed as a means to offer a creative practice rather than just another project.  It’s for anyone who wishes to develop a creative practice but who feel they’re “not creative”.

Culturally, women are required to wear many hats at the same time, and are conditioned to put themselves last on the list.   This workshop offers a simple opportunity for nurturing mental wellness that is both proactive and preventative, while also modeling a practice they can both use AND share with others.

Participants will be led through a simple process of meditating, drawing and painting with a focus on the creative process and not the end product.  It’s a space where there are no wrong answers and it’s a space to completely let go of left brain thinking and tap into right brain’s feeling and knowing.  It’s a doorway to wellness, not a destination–Join us and free your mind!

Materials Needed: Plain white paper or unlined sketchbook, pencil, sharpie, something to color with (colored pencils, crayons, watercolors etc)

Stacy Parish is an award-winning storyteller, podcast host, and educator who’s been honing her craft for almost 25 years.  What began as a career in professional broadcasting has evolved onto performing stages and classrooms across the nation.  Additionally, Stacy is also an Ageless Grace Trainer, who relishes in the power of play!

Stacy’s been professionally involved in education and communication for over 30 years – spending the last decade creating and presenting self-empowerment workshops using the arts as her vehicle.  Her popular “Full Spirals” podcast – a nominee for a National Sonic Bloom Award – brings together two of her passions: using her voice as an agent for change and promoting the arts as a tool for healing.

As a working local artist, Stacy is also employed in the paint and sip industry, and her original paintings have been taught to tens of thousands of people nationwide.
